Toucan

Hi everyone ! I want to introduce you a new painting .

This time I got inspiration from the web. I wanted to design for my house an animal canvas. I was thinking about birds and then I realized that a Toucan would have been perfect. But just a Toucan would have been too poor, so I decided to add on the background, beyond the leaves, two pink flowers.

In this case the technique is a bit different compare to my other painting ''Harmony'', but at the same time is still the same.

Quick brush strokes alternating with brush strokes and more defined lines.

The whole painting is very realistic despite different colours that overlap each other.

I tried to make light points by using the white and yellow colours .

Compare ''Harmony'' I can say that the brush strokes are more defined.

The most difficult part to paint was the beak.

So I tried many times until when I got the right light effect.

I really enjoyed painting my Toucan and now it brings lots of lights and colours on my living room wall.

By designing my painting I am discovering which one is my own technique.

Before , most of the time I was trying to copy picture in the smallest details.

Now I discovered that every one got a different style , which could be really different from pencils to watercolours and acrylics.

That's why, now, when I want to paint I am not so careful as before to copy a picture. Instead I prefer to make my painting with my details and on my way .
